The Republican Party continues to engage in a concerted effort to shatter Democratic norms and values in pursuit of political power. We need to go beyond just preserving our democracy as is, by expanding it, and solidifying it for generations to come.

• The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act which would restore and strengthen the Voting Rights Act of 1965

• Overturning Citizens United and banning shady PAC money from funding candidates like my opponent 

• Expanding the number of Supreme Court Justices to rebalance the Court

• Abolishing the Electoral College

• Automatic voter registration

• Making Election Day a national holiday

• Abolishing the filibuster

• Automatic voting rights restoration for anyone upon the completion of their sentence

• Expanding early voting and vote by mail

• Federally banning gerrymandering

• D.C. and Puerto Rican statehood

• Allowing other territories to make their own self-determination
